1954

Fauri Bruno from Tres in Trentino founds a small plumber business in Salorno. As his range of offered products and services increase, so does the demand for it. Especially the fast mechanisation of the local agriculture gives Fauri the opportunity to design and construct his own agricultural equipment such as mowing/plowing machines, circular saws and other appliances.

1971

After a few years the company expands its capacities and moves to a new location in the south of the village. The number of customers is still increasing (by now they come from various Italian regions) and Fauri has to enlarge his staff to supply all requested goods. Now also compressors and generators for fruit conservation are offered.

1981

In 1981 Salorno is flooded after the bursting of a nearby dam. Also the company is severely affected. In order to repair all caused damages, the production has to be interrupted for several months. It is due to Bruno Fauri’s willpower and passion for his work, that this challenging period is overcome successfully. At the same time the devastating event is used to reorganize and modernize the facilities.

1985

In 1985 the company is passed from Bruno to his eldest son Mauro. At the very beginning of his managing function, Mauro succeeds in acquiring Dinamit Nobel Silicon as strategically important client. The producer of ultrapure silicon for the IT-sector needs purified graphite for its manufacturing process. This graphite is henceforth machined and delivered by FAURI KG.
The opportunity to collaborate with a technologically advanced business allows us to gain an enormous amount of experience and to further develop. The new sector of graphite machining soon becomes the core competence of the company. Almost every year new equipment is acquired to extend the existing machinery.

TODAY

Today FAURI KG is divided into two sectors: (A) graphite machining and (B) mechanical engineering and metal processing. In order to be able to satisfy all customer demands, the company continuously develops further, both regarding its internal organization as well as the available machinery.
Fauri KG is still a family business and we think that this is part of our strength. All values and goals that define the company are lived and passed on also to the third generation – Manuel Fauri.
